Wastyanipi is another link in the chain of lakes that form the Pipestone River system. Although we offer you 26 km of shoreline to fish and explore including the Pipestone River, we limit accommodations to groups of 4-6. The lake is 1700 acres in size and also includes 12 islands.
This means the fishing pressure remains at a minimum each year ensuring a consistent quality in both walleye and northern fishing all season long. Our camp is located at the south end of the Wastyanipi adjacent to the rivers inlet. Some of the fastest walleye and northern fishing will be found here at the mouth of the river, just a short boat ride from the camp.
Travel a little further up the river and you will encounter a picturesque waterfall, which not only presents great photo opportunities, but will provide you with many hours catching and releasing walleyes, northerns and even the occasional sturgeon.
